- Proposed Family Engagement in Education Act of 2011
The Family Engagement in Education Act of 2011 will be introduced in the US House by Representatives Platts and McCarthy and in the Senate by Senators Reed and Coons. The Family Engagement in Education Act strengthens parent engagement in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), commonly referred to as No Child Left Behind (NCLB), which Congressional leaders have stated they want to reauthorize this year.
